On my list of places I most wanted to see in Italy was Cinque Terre. In fact, it was pretty darn close to the top. Cinque Terre is a group of five little colorful coastal towns situated within rocky cliffs. Last Saturday we (Luke Kelcey and I) got to cross it off the list! We did a day trip through a company that runs tours for college students in Florence. We were a little limited in the amount of time we could spend exploring the beautiful coastal towns because of the program's schedule, but we had a wonderful time regardless. We spent the day breathing in the salty ocean air, hiking (though most of the trails connecting the towns were closed due to lack of maintenance), swimming, and eating seafood. One day was not nearly enough time to spend in Cinque Terre, but it was definitely enough time for me to fall in love.

I'll be back for you someday, Cinque Terre! <3
